This movie went in all kinds of directions -- like a 1950's educational short tacked onto a cold war propaganda reel, with a noir car chase thrown in, then finally into the under-ground spaceship and the fantastic vintage sci-fi I was looking forward to! ...which lasted about 15 minutes.

OMG there's another one I didn't know about! 😂 Not horrible, lots of recognizable actors, but certainly nothing groundbreaking. Soundtrack has some good tunes, tho.

Practical makeup effects were underwhelming in this, but the movie was still creepy overall, with a predictable yet grotesque ending. Most of the film is so visually dark that watching it at night in a dark room is very immersive.
