There was an introduction by Rob Zombie, in which he says the house they used was the same one from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, so I'm gonna have to check that out.

I want to say this move is underrated, but I can't.
Visually it's fantastic, it really is, and the cast is great (Meg Foster, wow!)... but something falls flat along the way... something's wrong, I can't quite put my finger on it... maybe it's trying too hard? taking itself too seriously? too much visual, not enough story? Seems like I should like it more than I do, but I just don't. 🤷
