Definitely a little more cheesy than the original, but the same level of confined cave spaces to freak you out; seemed like more monsters; and more blood somehow?! and always directly into someone's open screaming mouth.

Great homage to/continuation of the original. Amazing cast, excellent storytelling, very heavy material.
